About The Host

I started hosting foreigners during the Tsunami as a volunteer and today I continue this as a hobby and my job.

What do you like in this job?

Its just marvelous! We have the chance to meet lots of good people from around the word, learn and share experiences with them. My children can learn some language skills from them too.

What do you cook for your guests?

We do have many organic vegetables in the surrounding organic markets as well as we also have our own garden with organic plants, especially around 10 kinds of local fruits. We cook, local, indian and some singaporian food as I have lived there in the past.

Do yor guests have privacy in your homestay?

They do have all the privacy they need in a very lively household. They get own rooms with shared bathrooms as this is a unique structure of an ordinarily local house. They are clean and standard.

What is the difference to a hotel?

You will have a wonderful family around you to take care. And beside this, many skills like local dressmaking, cooking can be learned from me.
